Although dropouts  have been a problem for me as I stream wirelessly, it just works better for me than using a CD player….another box and more wires. Glad that vinyl is doing so well.

Same here Nick. I stream just about everything, Deezer and YT, but occasionally listen to an LP.

An audiophile friend, Dan, and I compared wireless vs hardwired, and we both preferred ethernet.
Have you tried both by any chance? Just curious.

Steve,

I am using a good quality Ethernet cable nowadays and enjoying 300 Mbps speed rather than my prior 5-15 Mbps. It sounds quite good and the cable company used RG 11 …orange color… which appears to be very good quality. I think that what I have wired internally in the house is likely very poor quality. Someday I may change it out, but it’ll be a little bit pricey, and I’ve spent enough money on this house since I moved in last year. I am very satisfied with the sound quality right now

Nick
