Just finished AXPONA 2025 in the Danville Signal room 354 with an ABC demo the Magnepan 1.7i demo of passive vs dspNexus 2/8 DSP crossover and with Wendell Diller's new PlanarBASS open baffle subs as a world premier.

Had a lot of attendees and press come for listening and discussions along with some requested private session times.  One of whom was Jason, The Audiophile Junkie for a full room video review and discussion session.

Prototypes of the new smaller new DSP crossover with a UI that will be for EARC source or Analog sources was on the table display.  It will be more standardized than the dspNexus 2/8, but be perfect for using as a DSP crossover and HiRez DAC for use with main speakers and subs giving variable crossover frequencies and time delay functions and more.  It will have AKM AK4493SEQ DAC's and analog section like the standard dspNexus 2/8.

Hopefully if any attendees are here, they will post some feedback.

Congrats, Rich. I think I saw a brief video of Jason at your room, but he was going to come back. Is that right or am I confusing things? I've seen a fair number of videos already about the show.

Nick,
Thanks!

Yes, Jason did a short video of when he was talking to Wendell Diller and Sandy Gross and setup the time for the room video.  Jason was in for a full ABC passive vs DSP crossover demo and discussion as he asked for dedicated time.

The room video is in work, so will post it when I see it.

Thanks, Rich. I was not aware that Danville made amps as well. I was aware because of your posts regarding the dac. Congratulations for getting some positive comments from The Absolute Sound.

Nick,
Thanks!

Danville Signal just announced the 4 channel amps at the show.

This makes it easy to integrate biamp or triamp speakers with subs that all need amps.

Rich, That sure simplifies things. Are you involved in the design of the dac, amps etc with Danville?

Nick,
No, Al Clark at Danville Signal does the DSP and analog hardware design.

It was a collaboration on the dspNexus 2/8 that I helped with as a DSP Control center were we discussed functions and analog output ideas.
