Of course it was funny, but it was also a good question. I knew that it was probably a bad idea, but when a fellow with a much pricier rig than mine had one in place, I thought I'd ask. Knowing that Dave is a guy that polishes every contact, I was hoping he'd chime in... and he did. I also thought Charles might actually have tried one and would advise. It's one of the things that make our little forum valuable to guys like me.
Funny thing is that a local audiophile friend wants me to tell him what I found, since he was thinking along the same lines. He is one of those guys that likes to change stuff out all the time, and was looking to leave another table set up.
