Let us how know how that turns out, Paul. My house has been rattling a bit breaking in my 12” subs. It can get quite annoying 🙄

Whoah! Maybe some sub isolators like a pad or feet? Don't know if that would reduce the sound quality and bass output, though.

Paul,

I was able to find the most two offending locations and fixed those. So that settled things down quite a bit. I’m nearly done with break in. Then adjusting /dialing them in will be interesting I’m sure.

Dynamat can withstand the heat in an engine bay, should be able to handle an amplifier ;)

Good point! Been reading some opposing viewpoints, though. Some say too much can 'kill' the sound.

I last played around with different footers, spikes, decouplers, etc. years ago and this is the first time I'm putting anyting inside.

I guess this is another rabbit hole.

You can look into that rabbit hole by taking a big, heavy book and set it on the top of the amp.  This will give you an idea of what damping will do.
