NEW RELEASE: Cereus Sounds "The Lost Oasis"

Cereus Sounds would like to announce the release of our first album - The Lost Oasis - on Bandcamp.

It's a concept album. The band members met on Bandlab and have collaborated together and with many other people over the last few years before joining together to create this progressive rock album that we would now like to share with you. Here's the story ...


Deep within the heart of a scorching desert, where the sun beat down with relentless fury, lay a hidden oasis. Surrounded by towering, ancient sand dunes, a crystal-clear pool shimmered like a precious gem. Palm trees, their fronds swaying gently in the breeze, provide a welcome shade.

Legend whispered of a treasure hidden beneath the oasis. Stories told of a golden goblet, its surface etched with intricate symbols, said to grant the drinker eternal youth. Some claimed it was a map leading to a vast, underground city filled with untold riches.

Adventurers from far and wide had sought the oasis, drawn by the promise of untold wealth. Many had perished in the unforgiving desert, their bones bleaching in the sun. But the allure of the treasure was too great for some to resist.

And so our quest begins ?


We truly hope you enjoy the journey as it progresses from song to song and the adventurers endure everything the desert can throw at them. Will they suceed in their quest?

Appreciate it boys. It's been a lifelong musical dream to find like minded musicians who can both compose and play. This one took almost 2 years to finally get to this stage. It's a slow process but I think we have something here to be proud of.

I just looked over the "Stats" on Bandcamp and a bunch of you have gone there and checked out our new album. I really appreciate your taking the time to listen to our music, but then, that's what we all do, right? So a heartfelt thank you from all the band members for your support.
