Back from LSAF2023 and now for some more fun with Pizza Box Amp v2.1.

These are the fanless SMPS for +/-36V at 1kW DC output.  Should do well up to 500W without a heatsink or chassis mounting for trials.

They have adjustable output voltage, so will be making sure both sides are as equal as possible.

Next to wire them up for testing with a resistor load check.

They look like MeanWell SMPS.  Are they?

Back at the DIY Pizza Box amp as v2.1.

Got the standard SMPS from Orchard Audio to replace the dual SMPS as there is no soft start circuit with a 96A turn on surge.  Would be a staged turn on with a relay to engage the amp once stabilized.  All built in the Orchard SMPS.  Both monoblock amp boards are now wired to the new SMPS.

Added a power on switch and adding a LED power on light soon as I get a chance as the parts arrived yesterday.
