Beats Antique!

Just saw these guys live at Red Rocks with Thievery Corporation headlining. Thievery is awesome, but I already knew that... so is Beats Antique, if you haven't heard them yet definitely check them out. I really like their new album, Elektrafone...

Their live show is 3 guys... one is a drummer full time, one plays wind instruments, mostly baritone sax, but also a clarinet and others. The 3rd plays strings, synths and drums. The music is modern interpretations of old music... and anything goes... it is a worldwide palette of sounds from marching band to polka to persian. Worth checking out if they come 'round!
