Edge vs Chrome vs Firefox
« on: January 05, 2021, 08:02:52 AM »
Someone made a comment that Edge has better sound quality than the other two.
Been playing around this morning and while Edge does seem higher volume than the
other two it does seem to be a little better clarity.
Am I just going nuts or is there something here?

If sources are not level matched, the loudest will sound best.

But I’m a bit surprised if they really differ in volume unless some replaygain is on/off
Browsers probably expand what they receive for audio to PCM and send this to the win audio engine.
I don’t expect them to have a sound of their own.
