Jays Audio CDT3 mk3 Transport.

Using an Aqua Acoustics La Diva transport. Wondering what Jays would compare. A lot less money. Aqua M2 $9800, Jays 5K approx. I know Jack has the CDT2. Oh Jack what ya think ?/

Actually I own both the CDT2 Mk3 and the CDT3 Mk3.  The CDT3 is a pretty big step up to me and others I know that have owned both.  With the Aqua DACs the La Diva might be a better sympathetic match but versatility wise the CDT3 might win.  With both units I found the AES connection to be the best so inline with Christian's thinking about connections.  Also found that to be true with the La Voce S3.

  The I2S connection between La Diva transport and Aqua DACs is Christians favorite. AES coming in better than SPDIF. Anyway Jays looks interesting. Stepped up to Aqua M2 transport. La Diva discontinued. I have two Divas for sale. 3K each. List was $7400.

I understand that the Link Q connection may be favored by like with a similar connection method as with Auralic, Esoteric and others is in brand specific.  For the general public I was always of the understanding that the AES connection was preferred over USB or Coax.  That came from Mark and Christian. I've tried all three.
