anyone compare the sound of classe amps vs. ayre amps ? what are your thoughts?

  Never directly however owned older DR25. Class has a warm house sound and Ayre light and detailed IMO. Ayre's latest are very neutral however slightly lean. Great bass and all the other Hi Fi stuff.

   It may. Depends on tube types and overall character of component. Carey and Ayre as an example. Audio Research and Ayre not.
   Any particular reason for the Ayre selection ?
