Determining Crossover Slope?
« on: March 13, 2021, 11:09:49 AM »
I have pics of a crossover that I’d like to identify the slope of. If it’s possible that someone here might know, I can PM the pics. Thanks
Jim

If you post the pictures of the crossover, that would work to identify the style if it is simple.  If not, measurements would be needed to identify the electrical crossover slopes.  Even with component values, you need measurements to see the response.

I’ve never successfully posted pictures here. They either get rejected for wrong file extension, or they’re upside down, or whatever. Always frustrating.

I just use Paint to resize the pictures below the 600KB limit and that always works.

Jim,
I’m not sure if I previously posted on this or not, but I use Apple and they use jpeg or jpg..not sure. I think this site likes the opposite. It’s interesting when I copy and paste pics from Amazon re the “ what am I listening to now” posts, it works perfect every time. Jim, are you an Apple user?

Nick B,
All my pictures are *.jpg format JPEG's pictures even with Windows 10.

Thanks, Rich.
I’m going to look into it more as I’d like to be able to post pics from my library, just not the internet. My pic skill level has always been more toward a Brownie than a Hasselblad

Yes, jpeg extension not allowed was the last message. I’ve gotten some suggestions from members and will be trying again when I have some time. FWIW, which is probably nothing, I tried a PM to a member and it was the same message. I will figure it out eventually... Thanks to all.

As soon as I figure out jpeg/jpg conversion (or should I say if...), I’ll let you know

Try just renaming the file from *.jpeg to *.jpg and see what happens.
