And frankly the draw of Bladerunner and showtunes (maybe the jokes on me - Are you really watching Bladerunner and listening to showtunes ) isn't much of a motivation.

But I have been missing you guys, reading about these GTGs (like @ Evan's a few weeks ago) that I never seem to hear about until I read about how much fun everyone had 

I'd like to get my op-amp swapped EE DAC into some other systems, to see how it fares.

Hello there- I'm a new guy on the block - (Bill) as daddy101195 - and can't seem to figure out how to find a meeting, or even if there is one... is it usually one weekday night (like every 3rd Friday night), or is it randomly set up by the # of people interested in getting together?

i'm out on LI so that might be a factor as well... PLEASE SOMEONE EITHER ANSWER MY ?'s or steer me in a direction...

Welcome aboard. 

You are correct AudioSyndrome meetings are generally held on the 3rd Friday of the month, although on occasion we will stray from that for a special event or to meet the schedule needs of the host. Our club secretary sends out e-mail meeting notices each month and opens a thread right here about the meeting (If you go back to the forum directory you will see a bunch of threads called Jan Meeting, Feb Meeting etc.)

This particular thread is actually not about an AudioSyndrome meeting at all but rather about an event being put together by the NY Audio Rave group. The Rave is another NY Metro audio group (Which actually has a number of members in common with us. It is not unusual that when one of the NY audio clubs has a special event such as a meeting with a manufacturer that an invitation is extended to the members of the other NY groups to join as well. This is one such case. The members of the Rave are going to Brooklyn this Friday night to visit with DeVore Fidelity and have invited any Syndrome members that are interested to come along. (Thanks guys!)
