Not sure how I missed this, but very timely. I was disappointed that iFI's top power supply...for currently $110 or so iirc... was still so noisy. The Volumio was quite bad. These companies should offer better quality power supplies as an option. Let the consumer decide what to buy and how much to spend.

As I have become very focused on getting rid of noise, a top notch power supply is very important to me. Now the issue is what are the best and most reasonably priced lps. I took a look on ebay and there are quite a few. I don't have a lot of confidence in Aliexpress for example. Without specific recommendations, I am relying on user ratings and comments and some of those guys may not know what they're talking about or are inexperienced.

The power supply Jack recommended is already sold out on Aliexpress. I did make note of a lps on WBF and it's called the Zero Zone. I would like to get a lps for my Arris modem and the main router for my TP Link mesh system. Both are 12v devices. As the noise issue is so important to me, I'd pay up to $150 per device.

The other thing I'm wondering about are the lps units that offer choices for different voltages. Convenient, yes, but I would think a compromise in performance.

Comments welcome.

I received the dual output low noise linear power supply from China yesterday, the one that Dave recommended. Thought I might have a problem as the original shipper returned it to the manufacturer. So I sent the company an email yesterday and it showed up later via a different shipper, UPS. Maybe it was a tariff issue, but the manufacturer took care of it and very quickly. The unit is very nicely built and their response time to emails is very prompt.

I attached the Arris modem and TP Link router in the living room and there's a noticeable and very pleasant improvement. Both the modem and router are 12v and 1.5 amps. This is so much better than chasing more expensive equipment. Glad I became very focused on noise reduction. I happened to see a huge ad for an electrical company in the paper today. Will check them out as to running a dedicated AC line from the garage to the living room.

So tonight I'll kick back and enjoy a slightly blacker background and more refined and analogue like presentation.

And it was sounding even better at the end of the evening late last night. Pretty amazing for a little over $100.
Thanks very much 👍
