This "surface transducer" turns anything into a speaker.
Where would you stick it... to create a speaker?

I believe there is a fairly large thread about those things over on AVS...
This was a "rage" on the Decware forum years back. Remarkable "good" sound, a 14" x 12" x 3" (estimated dimensions) UPS box was said to work best.
Neat idea. Isn't there a thread on AC in the OB section about these? A very long thread??
Seems like fun. But my first thought is of absolute lunacy. I'd have a 4x8 sheet of plywood with these covering the back. Might good for HT LFE. Wonder how many it would take to achieve the brown note.

If you stick one in the right place, maybe not too long.... :lmc:
A 4x8 foot diaphragm would be something to hear. No baffle needed. :thumb:

 Good point. Might have to look for a YouTube "how to" video on that one.
I suppose a minuscule amount of power would be needed to run these?
Yes, I'm lazy and haven't looked for specs. :duh
Bob
I think the picture is the only spec you need. Oh and a bottle of glue. Oh and a sense of humor. Oh, and a bottle of whiskey.
Probably only a couple watts if you use enough of them.
When you guys get a little older and the Wifes arse starts spreading, opposite cheeks would produce good bass.

10W max. They say 6db high pass filter but no idea where.
Good one Charles...
