My Daughter Courtney and i attended the Crack the Sky show at the Rechter Theater in Towson Md on saturday night. these guys have been around since 1975 when they were voted best new rock group by Rolling Stone Magazine.they are catagorised as progressive rock but i think thier sound and style is unique. they played for two hours and forty five minutes straight and sounded phenominal :thumb: i have been seeing these guys since the late 1970's and they are one of my favorites....WCW III
I love these guys. Live Sky is definitely one of my favorite albums in that genre. Any links to a concert/tour schedule? I don't see anything on their website (http://www.crackthesky.com). Wish they were coming up NYC way.

Thanks Bunky, I feel like I've just reclaimed a pleasant little piece of my past. There was a stretch of several weeks where the two titles that got max play were "Crack the Sky" and "Hangover" by the Canadian band Max Webster, fronted by guitarist Kim Mitchell. Similar in feel to me, like Steely Dan run amok. Tuneful, talented, edgy in a proggy kind of fashion I suppose and more than anything woefully lacking in adequate promotion.
