My family visits a friend's condo near the beach on occasion. They don't have internet access. There is public wifi at the pool facility which is about 500 feet away, but I can't receive it from the condo on my laptop.

I started looking for range extender devices and found this USB network card for $40 which is claimed to extend range to 2500 ft:

Any other suggestions?

I've been working too many hours.

I just looked at the title of this thread and thought it said Wife Extenders. :roll: :duh

I don't even want to think about what that might have been about. :lol:
