Hi, I need to upgrade my Linn cable. I have a right angle din on it, Any recommendations for $300 max. I buy used also to make it more affordable. So far I have been looking at Jelco, SLC and Audio Origami. I don't have any experience with any tonearm cable other than the one i own.
Jim see if you can find a Sumiko tone arm cable box with RCA female out. You then can use any IC you desire. If not Furutech, Cardas, Audience or Crystal Cable.
If you are using a Linn cart stay as is, if not just make sure the capacitance of the cable is good match for your cart.

Here is a link to a seller on Ebay:

I have one of his silver DIN-RCA cables and it sounds good. I am thinking about trying the DIN-Mod-box for use with regular RCA interconnects.
The Sumiko PIB boxes are out of production and very hard to find on the used market these days. But the Sigma acoustics unit that Steve pointed to in his link looks like a very similar unit.
Yep saw that. Looks good except am I better off reducing the number of connection points and just getting the cable that goes from tonearm to preamp? Besides that just means one more cable i have to buy!
