Title: Show us your vinyl setup
Post by: Response Audio on April 09, 2012, 06:20:47 PM
I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where everyone could show, describe and talk about our vinyl systems.

Don't forget to describe or at least list the complete system.

Let's have some fun.

Here are close-ups of my secondary turntable set up. It is a Concept 2QD turntable with an AT-10 cart with AT-11SE stylus.

The table has a busted foot so I tried to make feet for it on the cheap. It is homely looking but so far the sound is quite nice. Phono preamp is from my Accuphase C-200.

Here are a few pictures of the custom turntable I use to spin vinyl and perform listening test of the Basis mkII Phono preamplifier. It is constructed of 7/8" thick solid Hard Maple with accents and inlays made of Mahogany.
The table itself started out as an Audio Note TT1 and runs an AN arm and cartridge.

I listened to it yesterday for the first time since the flood last September.

Thanks guys. We just rolled out the Basis mkII Phono preamp and figured this would be a good time to set up the new table. The original plinth was ruined in the flood so I had to build a new one. It has sat without being used for several months.
After hearing vinyl again, not sure why I waited so long :duh
