Title: Rocky Mountain
Post by: rollo on October 06, 2012, 07:22:27 AM
Myself and Triode Pete will be at the show. I will be in the Analysis , BSGT and GR Research/PIAudio/Dodd/Triode Wire Labs rooms.
Pete will be showing his power cords in the GR room. The Analysis room will be featuring a new tubed linestage with the Arion hybrid amps.
If you have not had a chance to hear what QOL does stop by. A game changer.  Larry Kaye from BSGT will be there to answer any questions on the design.

Uh -Oh! Dynamic Duo rides again!

Have fun guys, wish I could be there.

Legacy has some new speakers I'd like to hear, and the GR Super 7 is intriguing too.

Charles, are you bringing Lenehan to RMAF?

Please report back here on AN, so we have an idea of what's new and exciting in the audio world. :thumb:

Wish I could be there. :(

As Scot Hull commented on his Part-Time Audiophile website...

"I'm told that there are 174 display rooms. One hundred and seventy-four. And in case you were wondering, there's 2.5 days to the show. Starting to see the problem? Yeah. Let's do the math. Assuming it takes 1 minute to get to "the next room" and 5 minutes to travel from floor to floor, that's 174 minutes room-to-room and 45 minutes of floor-to-floor travel time. There's 1,320 minutes in 22 hours, and taking out the travel time, that leaves 1101 minutes for listening. At 174 rooms, that's 6 minutes per room."

Holy cow, that's a lot to see & hear!

Stop by Room 2024 @ RMAF for a cold one!

Cheers
Pete

The Omega model will be featured. Powered by Arion hybrid class "D" monoblocks.
Rich no Lenehans this time around. Will be spending most of my time representing GR research, PIAudio, TWL and Analysis as we are dealers for such.
Tony if you have the Analysis itch again we offer a 20 % discount on all new speakers.  :thumb: BTW with all Duelund cast crossover as an option they are breathtaking.

I'll definitely see you there.  No way I would miss the new Super 7's!  We usually get together with Gary and Danny during the show anyway.

With that many audio folks together at the same time, it sure would make sense to add a day... 3.5 or even 4 days sounds like a better time.. and that would leave time for people to hang out and socialize... which is my favorite part of this hobby.

Or play a round of golf in the mountains (weather permitting).

For those who didn't know, there's some great reviews over at AC by Tyson and Pez.

Congrats Pete and TWL and all you others in the room - they really seemed to like your room sound showing with Dodd Audio, GR Research, Pi Audio, DB Audio Labs.

No question the Odyssey/GIK room was superb. Tons of resolution without hardness or bass boom and an absolutely floating sound stage.  :thumb:

Chris had a blast. Well run laid back and just sheer fun. Meeting the boys and sharing in the GR room was the highlight for me. Danny, Eric, Dave, Pete and Gary priceless.
Being involved in two of the best sounding rooms was a kick for me. Both the GR room and Analysis rooms were picked by Tyson and Pez. Next year wil be even better.
