Title: Beethoven Orchester Bonn
Post by: mfsoa on March 12, 2013, 06:46:12 PM
At the State Theater, New Brunswick, NJ. last Sunday

$11 via Groupon and ended up Row M on the left side by the violins

Been itching to see more classical and had a great time with wifey.

But whazzup with the coughing, is it flu season? Is this a New Jersey thing?  A good cough every 2-3 seconds through the whole show, or maybe they just waited for the quiet parts to let loose. And a crying infant throughout, yikes.

Don't have the complete playlist but they finished with the Symphony No. 7.

Pre-dinner at a great Ethiopian restaurant and a nice stroll around the old campus at Rutgers - A nice day.

A classical musician frind of mine used to say you could judge the quality of the performance by the cough factor. More coughs means the audience just isn't into it.
