Does anyone know who provides record cleaning services (locally-nassau county long island)?

If you only have a few records then I'm sure any one of us that have a VPI machine can help you out. Just bring over a 6 pack. :thumb:
However, if you are talking about 50-100 or more records then I would strongly suggest you consider buying a machine yourself. That is tedious work and at the end a machine may be cheaper in the long run.

Only a few at first. I want to "experience" a record that has been cleaned. I have never ever cleaned an LP, only the stylus has been cleaned.
PM me if you want to set up a date and time. I'm at your service and like dark beer.
(but I don't own a French maid costume, sorry)

Hi Jim
I know of one guy who does offer a cleaning service for LPs in Hicksville. Real nice knowledgeable guy but no where near as hot as the maid pictured above.
His name is David Biaggi
He sells LPs on Audiogon under the ID xlh1. I've purchased records from him in the past and they are babied and sound awesome.

I don't remember all the details of his cleaning process but he uses custom homemade LP cleaning agents, a VPI HW cleaning machine, an Furutech de-ionizer and maybe steam too.
Dave is also great to talk too about audio gear.
I'll send you a PM with Dave's info.
