Title: Maraschino Power Supply Upgrade, more....
Post by: ampdesigner333 on February 23, 2014, 07:14:40 AM
We're getting very close on our 60V Maraschino power supply upgrade. This will be a 1kW (!) supply capable of driving two channels.  For hard-core audiophiles, it can be used one per channel for 800W max* into 2 ohms.   Perfect for ESLs and other speakers that have low impedance at high frequencies.  We are also prototyping our new black-top version, planned for March availability.

* for music transients, duty cycle determined by thermal limits

P.S. We aren't set up for automated ordering just yet, so please email Support@DigitalAmp.com for more information or to place an order.  Thanks.

If one supply for two channels, how long are the umbilicals?

Just trying to see how far apart the mono amps could be spaced.

I like the idea of only having one $$ power cord though  (I know I know you are an engineer and not an audiophool  :thumb:)
