So many of you have asked for a tube power supply for the LeAnna and LeAna EV Plus preamps that we finally had to release it. This power supply was designed last year but due to moves we decided to hold back on a public release.
This is an outboard vacuum tube power supply optimized for the use of 5U4 type tubes meaning you can even run the highly regarded 274B. Will also run with 5AR4 tubes.

Hi I know I'm not a LeAnna or EV Plus owner but some questions come to mind. Sorry if they are stupid.
Would an existing owner have to send their LeAnna or EV Plus back for retro fitting this Tube Power Supply?
The tube power supply is connected to the LeAnna via an umbilical cord right? What is the length of the cord and how far away should the PS be from the preamp?
Do you have any pics with an tube power supply connected to the LeAnna series of preamps?
Could this power supply be retro fitted to an older Musica Bella preamp?
Thanks again.
Hello Sleepy
Not stupid questions at all.
Yes. The power supply could be used with older models of Musica Bella preamps. The unit would have to be sent in for the retrofit.
The umbilical cord that connects the power supply to the main chassis comes standard at 20". Longer lengths available if desired. The two chassis could be set side by side or on different shelves.
I do not yet have pictures but will shortly as I am working on a few customers' pieces.
Thanks for the super prompt response.
Last questions.
What are the dimensions of the Tube Power Supply?
How tall would it be with the tube in place?
Hi Sleepy,
The chassis is 12" W x 10-1/2" D x 4-3/4" H
With the tube installed (an average 5U4), it would be around 7"-7-1/2" overall height. Slightly shortly for 5AR4 tubes.
About 8" with the Sophia Electric 274B.
Here are a couple photos of the VTPS (Vacuum tube power supply) Right now available for the Musica Bella LeAnna EV Plus preamp and later the full size LeAnna and then the Bella phono stage.
