He has disappeared from the forums since March time frame (when he was packing for a move). Hopefully, everything is ok and he is just enjoying his new home and dedicated room :thumb:
I was thinking about him also.
I just checked over at Audiocircle and the last time he logged on there was March 26th.

This is really strange I was just thinking the same thing on the train this morning.
If anyone hears from him, be sure to make note in this thread. I havent heard from him in some time. Great guy and hopefully he just hanging under the radar for a while escaping the everyday rat race.
Hi Guys,
I last communicated with him on 28/1 and he told me he was still working in NY and was commuting at the moment. He is a great guy, even though I've never met him.
Cheers Rod
I emailed him at his email address I have, and nothing yet.
I called his work number, Vista Window Service, and left a message.
Jim
Any update?
Yes please.
Is he married, and does he have kids?
Just curious.
I was able to track down his son and sent him an email.
Wait and see.....
Thanks Emil.

Why didn't his son say anything more about Chris? Does that make sense? What does "ya he's cool" mean? :duh
I just called his home and the number is still valid. I suggest you call his personal number and leave him a message if you want to get in touch with him. He is a busy guy. :thumb:
I checked him online and looks like he opened up a cycling shop. http://www.lonewolfcycling.com/
Anyone check Rikers. Hell idk, never met him but you never know.
Maybe some Audionervosa members would have me checking Rikers  But not Chris. He's good people.
maybe he's just sitting back laughing his ass off following this thread 8)

I don't know the kid, but maybe it means he's lacking in traditional social discourse skills, with his head buried in his cell phone and video games and outside of texting, unable to grunt out much more than that. Like many kids these days!
Aooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

"Like many kids these days!"
We don't need to talk of kids these days. They're a different breed. Even adults bury themselves in their cells, man.
Anyhooooo, I would say his kids are grownups? Someone knows any of them? We have been chasing Chris for a while, and that's baaaaad that we haven't heard anything. ](*,)
Maybe he's gone Jihad in Iraq..
It may be safe to say that Chris has decided that putting time into audio internet forums is not as high a priority as it once was. It's been nearly 5 months since he logged in. Our loss. :(
It seems he's tired of leaning on speakers......
Or maybe he's leaned on them all by now. :(
I wish him well no matter where he is or what he is doing. Always a good Guy to me.

+1
When I was a newbie over at AC, Chris sent me copies of a rave cd of cuts he used to evaluate systems, and made feel welcome at place that isn't always so warm and fuzzy. I sure hope he finds his back to us.

OK. Thanks for the correction. Like most '' folks'' these days. Feel better....... man?
I know why, he's become Mr. FedEx, not wanting to see being caught up to his disappearing act over this:

No wonder my amp has lots of noise, all because of his throwing it into my place......
Thanks for the calls and emails.... sorry that I have not responded.
I still work in NY and live now in PA....so not a lot of free time like before to play on the computer.
I've not set up any system....some things still in storage.
Why you may ask.....my wife's Carcinoid cancer has returned... For the 2nd. time....and after many treatments.... none helped.
It's terminal....she's slowly dying.
So.... I try to spend as much time with her as I can....that's the most important thing to me now.
Chris
So sorry to hear that Chris. I was hoping that wasn't the case.
Keep your wife comfortable. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family, Chris.
Enjoy the time you have left together my friend.
So, so, sorry! If their is anything we can do just ask. We're here from you.
Sincerely,
Joe
Chris -
My thoughts and prayers with you and your wife.
Let me know if I can help in anyway.
Gene
Chris,
I can only second what Joe said - so sorry to hear your terrible news. My heart-felt thoughts are with you, your wife and family.

I'm sure you're not surfing' the audio forums right now Chris, but our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I do have to admit that I am looking forward to seeing you on Saturday! You will see that Emil's right about your attendance. It will be a much needed distraction for you.

Like many others have said, our thoughts & prayers are with you!
If you need anything, let us know!
Pete

Our prayers are with you Chris. Be strong and remember my friend we are all with you. Whatever you need its done.
charles
I can only reiterate what everyone else has said already. Looking forward to seeing you Saturday.
Bob
Chris, I'm very sorry too learn this. Like others I wish you and your son continued strength. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Jim
Chris I just read your post and Cathy and I are so very sorry to hear this. You and your wife are in our prayers.
Cathy & Bill
Saddened by this somber news Chris, my thoughts are with you and yours, sending good vibes your way.
Hi Chris. Hopefully you will see these post in time. You know you have friends here that will wish you nothing but the best. I don't need to tell you how important it is to spend as much time with your wife as possible. I'm sorry to hear you are going through this.
I know what it's like to see life's priorities change suddenly. I've been there....even recently.
Hopefully you will get some time to set up even a basic system as I have found that music is the best healer of the mind. At that point it's not about the hobby but the healing properties of the music itself.
Wishing you and yours the very best through these difficult times.
Bill Baker
Aww sorry to hear that Chris. I will be thinking about you 2, see you Saturday.
Sorry to hear that Chris.
I'm really sorry to hear this, Chris. As everyone has said, our thoughts are with you.
Chris, I love ya man. You supported me during a tough time in my life, and I think about that to this very day. Things like that mean something to me, and shows something about the character of a person. You Sir, have quite a bit of class and character.
I pray for your wife, you, and your family and the health and happiness of all.
I'm truly sorry for the pain in your lives, and I pray that it ends soon.
Bob
My most sincere and deepest sympathies, Chris. Having watched more than my fair share of family members waste away to cancer I can relate.
May her suffering end peacefully and may you find solace in that.
Hi Chris,
Sorry to hear this about your wife and I wish you all the best. You've been a great person to so many people (including me) on Audionervosa and Audiocircle over the years.
Cheers Rod
Chris,
I'm so sorry to hear the news. My wife and I have your family in our prayers
Nick
Chris,
:(
Chris, your wife is in my prayers.
May Love Always Abide,
Bill
