I have a friend who is interested in auditioning some Dennis Murphy speakers. Dennis is in the Bethesda area, so it'd be a looong drive. Dennis came up with the idea of perhaps visiting this new owner. He just sold a pair to someone in the Port Jefferson area (Long Island). Perhaps someone among us may know this particular Port Jeff person? So, if anyone knows this new owner, kindly let me know. Thanks.

Yes, sir. That would be the final arrangement (Dennis's intention I guess). But I thought I'd see if that buyer is among those that we know first. Easier that way perhaps.
Do any of you know a guy named Leon aka Homig on Audiogon? I believe he is in the Port Jefferson area. The guy has Pipedream speakers in a big room. Real nice guy. Maybe he is the one who is getting the Dennis Murphy speakers.

I'll look him up in Audiogon....? Anyhow, the Port Jeff guy bought Dennis's Model 3. That's a huge box. Whoever bought it, I presume he has a big house, as most people living in the outskirts should?
Anyhow, Dennis should be able to hook me up with this buyer.

Actually I got my Ports mixed up. :duh Leon lives in Port Washington. Before on Audiogon you could do member lookup and then send a message. I think they have changed things since their infamous upgrade years ago. I'll e-mail Leon if I can find his contact information. Maybe he can join us over here too.

I just sent a message to Homig on Audiogon. Ha, now you're saying he lives in Port Washington.... In that case, I WILL go through Dennis to get in contact with the correct buyer.... Will keep you guys posted.
