Title: My son's you tube video
Post by: topround on March 26, 2015, 02:46:54 PM
Video needs a lot of improvement, audio is actually the record playing into an A/D converter direct to computer, so audio is the digital file from the record, not a mic recording my room

A good first start. I like how the music was played into an A/D converter. Definitely keep that up for the next round of videos. With such beautiful gear on the next video I would say have more light in the room and have the camera pan around all the gear so people can see the beautiful gear to go along with the beautiful music.

Thanks
Going to try to improve the video and maybe get a new A/D converter.
Cartridge is a Ortofon blue, setup to the balls by Mikey , sounds great for a $150 cartridge, perhaps an Ortofon Black will be in his future.
Arm is Stogi reference so the cartridge is given all the benefits it can stand!

The kid loves prog rock!...who woulda thought?

Keep his interest up Mike. Its stuff like this at a young age that leads to a career.

Suggestion for next time - add some dancing girls.  :yay2:

Good stuff mike. If he would like to go to a progressive rock recording session let me know.
