Viva Hifi is expanding into high quality audiophile gear at more affordable prices. After having my horizons broadened by Elac, Technics, and Vanatoo at the RMAF, I decided to add them to product lines Viva Hifi offers.
Some of you may have heard the buzz surrounding these lines. Even though Elac and Vanatoo will be available on Amazon, people will be able to hear them here before buying and not pay a penny more than the Amazon price. Who wants to buy speakers without hearing them first?
The Vanatoo powered speakers will arrive in a week or so. Technics and Elac orders will follow in mid-November.
I'm asking for AN members' help. If you know anyone in the mid-Atlantic area who might be interested in high quality sound at reasonable prices, please keep me in mind. Thank you!
Congrats Scott!! That sounds very promising lineup.
Can you post the links to their websites so we can check out the products?
Thanks!
Rich

Yes, you can buy Elac and Vanatoo online, but I let people listen to them first and match any online dealer price! When you buy on an "Amazin" type online dealer the stockholders split the profit with the manufacturer. Little guys like me (and Rollo and triode Pete) really benefit from a sale now and then. :)
Hi Scott,
Where are you located ?? I'd love to hear the Elac's.

Hey Scott thanks for posting. IMO one of the most honest and trustworthy a dealer you can find.
Those Vanatoo are a Kaboom for the buck product.

P-man,
I'm in Vienna, Virginia about 15 miles west of Washington, DC and close to two interstate highways, I-95 and I-66. The Elacs are on order but not here yet. I'll post again when they arrive.
Rollo,
Thanks for the kind words. I try my best to be straight with people and offer good to great products. The Vanatoos are here and they sound better than any tiny speaker should.
Scott
Scott, You are heading in a good direction, the Vanatoo is a steal, the Technics should give the KEF LS-50s a tough fight, and Andrew's new stuff from ELAC ( plus next rung product sure to come) is the perfect avenue for budding music lovers to get superb sound, however I do lust for the Daedalus speakers driven by Dan's new tube amp you had at CAF.

Thanks KLH007! The first ELAC speaker shipment arrived today! I'm pumped. Yes, Dan and Lou's stuff is still top line gear, but I want to attract some listeners of more modest means to our crazy and rewarding hobby.
