This was especially shocking. He was only 66. I'll be enjoying his music tonight.
He never did look healthy.
RIP
Our loss. Rest in Peace. Guys how about tonight at 8PM we ALL play some Tom Petty. Report back as to what you played in His honor.

One of the most unassuming Icons in the business.
He left us with a lot of memories and I think for that reason missing him is magnified.
Hope he's Runnin down a dream.

Listening to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Greatest Hits, imported German Edition Extra track. From 1993
non-remastered with dynamic range intact. I guess I am easy, I like most of his material. I am also fan of The Traveling Wilburys more good tunes. He will be missed, I don't seen a whole lot of musicians coming along to replace those we have lost.

The anthem of my younger life: "Free Fallin". Thank you Lord for giving me Gayle. :thumb:
