It's been a few months now since I began my basic Tidal 9.99 subscription. The pluses- anything musically that pops into your head via reading, radio, people's suggestions, etc., can now be explored in depth, or superficially- the choice is yours. I do a lot of my listening as I go about my home tinkering with this and that, so my basic subscription sound quality is fine.
The ability to tag songs as favorites and shuffle them as my own eclectic 'radio station' is great.
More to come... I will soon be looking to upgrade the sound quality; I am currently using a Bluetooth connection between my iPad and amp. I know I can do better, but for now the musical exploration is fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable.
I've been happy with Tidal and the $19.99 price. The quality is fine...for me. The reliability has also been quite good.
So what streamer and DAC are you using ?
charles
Sorry just noticed what you are using. Can you say Innous ? Ask Triode Pete, Vinnie Rossi the one to have.

Charles,
I have no doubt the Innous is very good, but I'm just watching my budget.

The question was directed to Jim. I'm watching your budget as well   :thumb:

Tom I do not spend for them I just redirect funds to get better sound. If you ever try an Innuos server you would understand.
