Title: Where to get tubes cryo'ed?
Post by: jrebman on October 23, 2007, 12:12:16 PM
Anybody know a reputable cryo treatment facility that isn't too expensive and will do batches of tubes (preferred).  I want to do one of my Mullard rectifiers and a matched quad of Gold Lion KT-88 reissues, plus probably a few more.

Thanks,

Jim

Does John at Black Sands still do cryo?

I can recommend buying tubedepot cryo tubes, but can't predict safety of your tubes. I never used tubeworld, but they specifically describe the slow cool and warm process, 8 hours each, with 36 hour soak!
