Miracle in one box. Just hook up an amp and speakers. 39K. One can also if desired use an outboard power supply and clock. Not inexpensive however eliminates line stage and uses less cabling.User upgrades as well meaning future proof digital.

Have heard lots about Wadax and their dac. I think they changed their chassis styling, which imho was a very good idea. Price is relative I guess. Is anybody more expensive than MSB with their dac?
Using a State of the Art digital system from Aqua now. Eliminating the Lamm Ref. Preamp and using the Wadax volume control could prove interesting. I just cannot see the volume control out performing the Lamm Ref. No way to know unless I try. If I sell the Aqua set up, Lamm and related cables I would have enough for the Wadax. Both the Aqua and Wadax can be upgraded. Maybe simple is better. I need to hear the Wadax. Already back ordered at 39K.

I am a big fan of simple, fewer wires, etc. Evan just posted about a Lumin dac that uses the leedh volume control. Does the Wadax use that or another type or their own proprietary unit?
