After the 6 week Rhythmic Subs fiasco. Changed to 2 SVS 2000pro
I had to change here from The Fritz Carrera Be's that drove me nuts for over 3 years. I could never get them to be sound the way I wanted. I was listening less. My whole room is treated
Those tweeters( crossover) are killer to the point of only 50% of my music sounded correct. Especially my Vinyl. Changed from a Darlington MP8b to IMG_0151.jpga Hagerman Trumpet MC. I purchased Sonus Faber Sonetto S2C. Everything changes for the better.
One thing I do not like doing is shipping speakers it cost me $180 shipped to NY. Damn!
All Ok now they are out of here.
That Fritz speaker with the beryllium tweeter can be hard on the ears. That was my issue with them. I spoke with Fritz a few weeks ago. I don't think he offers that particular speaker anymore.
Glad the SVS are working out for you.
Regarding shipping, I have used pirate ship at least three or four times and it is saved me quite a bit on shipping. You might want to give them a try.

Those tweets are the Transducer Tech
BEs. I had people inquire specifically ask for them when selling.
A note about UPS. I was told they will more than likely NOT
Pay a multi k$ ins claim if the carton is not certified by the corrugator manufacturer with a seal present. Now the original carton used double walled heavy very good packing in and out. No certification seal. They wanted me to repack in a certified single wall wrong size no less piece of junk. I don't think soooo. Check all your Equipment boxes with packing are they certified?
What damn BS!!
I heard of problems with Pirate Ship paying.
Sorry they didn't work out for you in the end Den. I was under the impression at least initially that you were quite happy with them in your tube rig. They were a speaker that performed way over their price but I could only listen to them for any length of time with an all tube rig, tube DAC, preamp and amp which got a bit much. In the end I should have stuck with the speaker I called Fritz about initially. When Transducer Labs shut down during Covid he tried using a Be tweeter from Satori for a while then switched to a Satori soft dome. In the end he just shut the model down. He seems to be back to all Scan Speak soft domes again.

I have had some items damaged over the years and FedEx and UPS have both paid. I used to do insurance claims, so I was very careful with packaging and documenting before Photos, etc. I had a buyer ask me one time to have custom inserts made for my speakers before they were shipped to him. Drove all the way down to Las Vegas to a UPS or FedEx store, I forget which. They actually damaged one of the speakers after I left. So much for requesting customized inserts
I've not heard of any issues with pirate ship not paying. But then again, I have not filed a claim with them either. I do love the savings though...
