yes the EAR would be a good choice, upgrade the coupling caps with my fave Jupiter copper foils!

and the internal stepups were built to a price point, a Slagle upgrade would be a huge upgrade to that unit, because the phono section is very good to begin with!
System consists of an amp a preamp, 2 speakers a turntable and a phono preamp, Also some cables and power cords and a really cheap cd player.

What's involved with a Slagle upgrade? Who does the work and what's the cost?
