Was Santa good to you this year?

It's been a pretty lean few years as far as audio toys are considered...

Santa came through this year though... new pair of headphones got the office and travel.

Oppo PM3s... I had an opportunity to listen to a number of things at RMAF this past fall, and given the application (need closed for work, wanted something that could be driven realstively easy, were comfy, had sweet kids, and didn't break the bank...

For me, these checked all the boxes... it just meant I needed to be on my best behavior until the holidays. Now I can get back to being a PITA.

I was naughty but I still got a present or two. Picked them up used in DC a few weeks ago, Legacy Focus SE speakers. Been wanting them for several years, finally bit the bullet. I like them a lot, but whatever weird room thing (mid bass bloom) that I suddenly started noticing about 3 years ago these bring it out even more. I hoped it was coming from the previous speakers and these would cure it... nope. But it's easier to ignore with these, a very musical, big sound. Nice having Legacys "back in da house," as Charlie would say

Santa was good to my Fantasy Football team on Christmas Day, so I now have the cash to be good to me. Looking at better power conditioning.

My FF team was down 28 points going into Monday's Houston/Pittsburgh game and I had 2 players left. They had 0 points until late in the 3rd quarter and then started to produce. I went up by 0.12 points and held on for the win. It was a FF miracle!
