Guarneri Quartet Farewell Tour

After 45 years they are on farewell tour. They play Raleigh's Progress Energy Center - Fletcher Theater on March 1, 3pm.
Playing:
Franz Joseph Haydn: String Quartet in G Minor, Op. 74, No. 3, "The Rider"
Zoltán Kodály: String Quartet No. 2, Op. 10
Maurice Ravel: String Quartet in F Major

These concerts are open seating, so you can sit right in front of them if you get there early. Right next to me...   The acoustics in Fletcher are excellent, probably the best place to hear acoustic music in the Triangle.
