What does chrome edge mean?

Actually, most of the "Naimies" refer to the older NAP 250's as Chrome bumper.  I don't know where "bumper" came from, but it refers to the chrome edge on the perimeter around the face of the amp.  If you look at the link with the photo in (my) Reply#12, you will see that chrome edge on the case behind the amp itself.  When the amp is fully assembled, the electronics in the foreground of that picture slide into that chrome edged sleeve which is the outer casing of the overall amp.

Confused enough!?  :shock:
