Just curious... has anyone compared different versions (E.g.: the domestic CD vs. the Japanese import CD vs. ???) of this recording?

I would also be interested if anyone had some insight into the comparative sound of the LP and DVD-A versions as well.

As much as I love vinyl I have been hesitant to go for an LP version of this album because it it has such a nice flow to it that I get the feeling that breaking it up into 4 sides that need changing would detract from the listening experience. And besides, the domestic CD has a really good sound to it in the first place (wow, did I really say that? I'm scaring myself!  )

OMG!  For you to say that any CD sounds good means only one thing... you must've inhaled a little too much "transient smoke" that drifted through the crowd at the concert the other night!
