Does anyone have any experience with Olive Audio stand alone music servers?

I tried the 04HD once upon a time and thought it was a nice little unit. However with that being said, I thought a Sonos ZP-90 fed into a DAC sounded better and depending on the DAC involved, was a cheaper solution.

I love Sonos and truth be told, I have yet to come across anything that matches it.

Thanks for your input. My sense is that the Olive units are expensive for what they provide. I will explore the DAC alternative.

What they provide is simplicity and convenience.  A comparatively elegant solution compared to the multiple boxes, wires, and complicated operation that separates involve.

Their cost is fustratingly high compared to content, but that's true of nearly all audio gear.
