I had a Camber 5.0ti a while back...with titanium dome tweeter.  Since then, I avoid any mention of titanium and tweeter.  They simply hurt my ears for years.

There may be better use of titanium in tweeters now - but I still stay away.

The ribbons are in most ways better I've found.  My main speaker is a cheapo pair of Linaeums (with the better Lineaum tweeter than sold at Radio Shack in days gone by...and THAT tweeter wasn't bad at all).

It's a very similar ribbon as used on Gallo's Reference 3.1 now (in fact, I'm near sure they are sourced from the former founder/owner/designer of Linaeum, now he has a company called Aerospeaker or some such).  300 degree dispersion, and more open than anything I've heard at almost any price.

The woofer is a trashy, cheap Peerless...but they work well together somehow.   :)

Beats me, I'm kinda' happy in my mediocrity these days...lotsa' money in Mutual Funds
