They'll be playing at the Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, NJ on December 8th, tickets are $20.

Anyone interested in seeing them?

$20. ? that is cheap...I bought their last cd some months ago, being a cello fan.
I rarely plan that far ahead. But will keep it in mind.

Not sure Gene, I can't remember if I've ever been to a show there before, but I'll be going to the show with my neighbor, and I'll report back afterwards ;)

Well my neighbor and I were all set to go, when one of the band members became ill so the show has been postponed until March 17th. I'll likely try and go then.

Based on the comments in this thread I picked up a couple of their albums from the library. I'm not big into metal, but this was some interesting stuff.

Cool. I hadn't even heard of them until a few months ago, and still haven't heard any of their albums. I just saw/heard some of their stuff on You-Tube after a friend mentioned they were going to be around and thought it was interesting enough to go see them live.

Apocalyptica is awesome.  I loved their cover of Welcome Home (Sanitarium) way back in the day.

Recently picked up one of their albums. It also had a bonus DVD. What is funny is the DVD was the cellist's playing the songs. It was nice but not metal sounding. The CD however has big guitar power chords and, well just metal power in general. You really can't hear the cello's except for what would normally be keyboard backgrounds.

Still, the songs were good and there wasn't too much cookie monster vocals.

Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have  to blow your nose.

Interesting Bob, I wonder what Thursday night will sound like... Album or DVD? I guess I'm hoping for somewhere in between ;) I'll report back afterwards.
