Mike,
What are you recapping? The PS for the motor speed control???

You might be better off plugging in the motor PS into a real good power conditioner, like a Rev. B or Uber buss for "stabler" speed control.

Pete

PS - You left the Talk CD player at my house last weekend. What do you want me to do with it?

Hiya Pete..

The Talk cdp is mine.  I met you briefly at BobM's a year or two ago.  I will arrange to pick it up.

Thanks....John

Pete,
the table was built on October 8th, 1982, so the electrolytics are pretty old.
Karl is going to recap and put in new voltage regulators.
I also bought a step down transformer for 100volts(Japanese voltage)
There is a site (www.amp8.com) he restores many Micros as well as everything else audio. He changes many of the old parts out on the circuit boards for new ones. This will not make the table sound any better, just run properly.
