Taking my daughter to Yankee Stadium tonight to see The Wall. I saw it last year with some of my other audio buddies (Pete, Andy, Mike and his wife, Tom) and it was easily the best produced show I have ever seen.

Really looking forward to sharing this with her since she is a big Roger Waters fan.

Anyone else going?

Did Roger Waters find his limo up on blocks behind the stadium after the show!

Great show. Pretty much the same thing as last years show at Nassau Coliseum, but a whole lot more people. We had seats way upstairs, so the wall tended to look small from our perspective. The sound was much better than I would have expected for a stadium concert (so was Nassau Coliseum last year, which has a notorious boom), and he employed the speakers all around the top for some cool 3D effects.

Figure about 40,000 people overall, but I still managed to bump into Mark Maloof and his wife. Go figure.

I was there too!

It was a great show, though I think it was more involved last year at Nassau Colliseum.  It seemed they were too reliant on the projector for this show with less going on on stage...  or maybe that was just my take from the nose bleeds...
