Great find, Bill!  Very grungy, techno-pop but with a rhythm. 
Reminds me of a lot of things but I like it as a whole.

I've got a 'Live on Letterman' cd that I like quite a bit.  Excellent mix of musicians and fairly well-recorded.  The cover has a picture of DL in a movie theater with a dog...
