Just want to say that I am extremely pleased with my power cords.  All the usual superlatives, e.g., a veil was lifted, everything clearer but not overly etched, very well balanced sound, and most importantly-feel no need to investigate other types (brands) of pwer cords.   (Time to get off of the treadmill.)   I will definitely purchase more Black Sand power cords, group buy or otherwise.

Alright!  I'm in for another group buy...put me down for two Violets.  I'm on vacation right now, but will measure for correct lengths when I get home in a week.

Come on everybody!  Lets get an order together!

Will a violet power a high power amp (theta dreadnaught)...my guess is its not the best choice for that.  My plan would be to use these on my digital front end - rega apollo and an Anthem D1.  Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Also, are all the BlackSand powercables treated cryogenically?

Cheers!

I am using a Violet with my 400wpc MacIntosh MC402 and it sounds just dandy   :D
Modwright Transporter, Ayon Spirit II Integrated, Daedalus Ulysses speakers, Running Springs Haley conditioner, Reality cables, Black Sand Violet PC's.

Thanks - I will have to give that a try (as soon as I have a BSPC in my possession).  The amp is a big one - around 500 x  5 into 4 ohms - but I think I can do better than the element cord attached to it.

I've got to figure out my needs...and then decide which PC's to try.

Have you ever noticed.... Anyone going slower than you is an idiot...and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

How many power cords do you people need?

Oh no! Here we go again......and I just got enough Violet Z1s for my DAC, AMP and Power Conditioner.

Too soon for a group buy......hold off for a bit while I gain back some bank balance! :)

...and I could potentially be persuaded to get more than two if we achieve enough orders to get the 30-35% discount!

I understand this buy will be of a shorter duration so we'll have to work harder to spread the word.

Tell your friends!

Does this mean another group buy is going to happen, or is it still not decided?

Biggie.

I'll field that one... I spoke to John at BSC and asked that he delay the new GB until we complete a major overhaul to AudioNervosa.com... which should happen very soon.

The new GB appears to be emminent and hopefully John will start a new thread for it under the GB section... however, it'll be at least a week before I'm ready.

I don't want to start something, and have the potential for things to go wrong in the middle of it.  I'd like things to be as calm as possible for the next week or so...

Thanks,
Carl
I really enjoy listening to music.

Thanks for clearing that up Carl. Sounds like a good plan. :)

Good plan...let's leverage the buy to encourage interest in this forum.
