Hey Mike M.  please be safe out there and remember to swim with your arm floaters.

Well guys, it should be no surprise this was bound to happen.

I hope to you stay here so I can follow your audio adventures and visit you again.

New shirts for the NYAR folks will go on sale shortly.... :thumb:

Peace from Pittsburgh,
Lou
A musically satisfying system is 50% the components and 50% you.  Until you have a handle on your own "inner sensibilities to sound and music," you are only dealing with half of the equation.

Only banned members can wear that T shirt, sort of like a purple heart.

Now lets all get banned...just for fun.
I did it. I liked it so much I did it twice, banishment that is :thumb:

Dissent is patriot...right ??

Mike
System consists of an amp a preamp, 2 speakers a turntable and a phono preamp, Also some cables and power cords and a really cheap cd player.

Carlman

I still run this site but there are talks that Rich will be taking it over completely... as I move into the distant background.

My only request is to be at peace, with yourself, with AC, and with your new home here.  Once you do that, you'll find participating here is much more productive for improving your experiences with music.

Consider AN the peace pipe of audio... smoke it up! 8)

I really enjoy listening to music.

What a difference between the loving, caring stoner Carl and that other guy who just likes to throw people out. Maybe we should get some of our "city people" to prepare a care package (if you know what I mean), then find a "mule" to take it over to the other side of the world and help that other guy to smoke-up and chill out.

Thanks for being YOU Carl.
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have  to blow your nose.

I think JR would appreciate a blanket party far more:rofl:

I'll second that. Recently as ya all know my episode with my amp and tubes. At first I was very upset with the decision to to delete or move my thread. When it got personal by others Carlman and Rich jumped in to save the day. Yes disappointed  a bit but in the end best for all.
As I said many moons ago AN is the place to be. Now ya know why. I should have my amps back this week with the new trannies. Looking for a pair of RCA NOS 211s, if anyone knows of a sale please let me know.

Welcome to AN Werd!
Welcome back Ed!

I've tried to not bring AC baggage over here (after doing so in the past  :duh) but personally I had no problem with the moderation, it was more the unwillingness of the members to accept differing viewpoints.
Without that you won't learn anything and I'm around more to learn than to teach. Thanks professors!
Just wanted to say...

Mike I got banned for pointing out the obvious and during the same month a certain moderator was going around insulting people for posting questions  he didn't like. Especially to do this to a new member(s). I guess when your rich you don't need any new customers ?

Mariusz

Ed is right
It was painful to watch

Hopefully, it's all for the best

Deton Nation

Im banned. I want a purple heart. Maybe it should be a giant purple nipple? :)
