So, with power cords, if we look for the change and difference in sound we are determining that difference in sound since electricity flows at a molecular level. If you sit back and enjoy the music and don't listen for tiny differences in sound quality then it is all good and Einstein wins. ...............................So I suggest we all just sit back and enjoy!

According to modern physics theory, on the large level (planets, baseballs, etc.) we have typical observational (Einsteinian) physics, where everything you see and measure stands up to the theory. Then there's quantum physics which occurs at the molecular (very tiny) level. At that level the act of observing or measuring something determins the result you see. So if you don't measure/observe it it can probabilistically be any result, but by measuring it you determine its outcome. So you have influenced it by measuring it and caused it to be what it is observed to be.

Actually, the classical physics is better described as Newtonian, since Einstein was an early pioneer of modern physics, along with Bohr, Planck, etc.

So when and where is this Preamp Rave?? I have a new 26 preamp I just built (actually it's still on a plywood sheet in breadboard form but it works well). It runs off the same power supply as for my Supratek Chenin so I could bring both and we could switch back and forth to compare IDHT with DHT using the same CLCLC supply. It also has a row of pretty gas regulator tubes for eye (and ear) candy...

Here's a couple pictures of the "Preamp on a Board". Eventually I'll build a nice copper enclosure, once I finish tweaking. If I bring it you have to promise not to stick your hands into it as there is 400VDC coming into the back speakon plug...
