An interesting guy for sure.   Clearly he had an ear for talent and a brain for promotion.  He also had ties to organized crime and played fast and loose with tax laws.  But good grief, what a stable of talent that guy signed.

And now we add David Clayton Thomas to the list.  His voice added grit and power to the polished rock/jazz band, Blood Sweat and Tears, to take them to the top of the charts.  His voice was such a contrast to the 4 piece brass ensemble that made their sound unique.
