Not bad. Thank God JayZ passed on the superbowl! Doesn't have the balls or business instinct of his own wife.

I was playing Rush 'Chronicles' as loud as I could comfortably listen before this, but when this started I grabbed in the remote in a panic, at least twice as loud! Shows how much more compression is on the modern recordings. This album is hitting as people zoom in on him for his Superbowl performance. 6 songs on the charts today, that's impressive these days. It's far more interesting than Taylor Swift or Lady Gaga or Adele's latest, but it's still pretty 2 dimensional, musically speaking. His voice is still small and there's no sincerity or "there" there, but what pop does anymore? Surprisingly, this album lacks that edgy mp3 sound heard on most all other pop CDs. SQ is smooth and listenable tho the dance punch (and bland melodies) get annoying quickly.

One of the few Kenton albums that sounds good on Tidal.

A really great latin jazz band playing at Yoshi's Jazz Club in SF 1999.

Some of this was released in 2002 as "Ultimate Latin Dance Party."
