This is not a studio album but rather transcriptions of two radio shows from the 1940s. As such the SQ is not good at all, but in spite of that the shows were fun to listen to. A little reminder of what life was like before Netflix.

Count Basie and Oscar Peterson backed by Ray Brown Freddie Greene and Louie Bellson. Talk about an all-star cast.

And a great selection of music to boot. If you ever see this, DO NOT pass it by.

The Association, "Insight/Out" Warner Brothers W1696 mono

Just snagged a very very clean copy of this for $5 at the Austin Record Convention last week. I'm a sucker for Sunshine Pop and I think "Never My Love," which was engineered by Bones Howe, is a pop music masterpiece.

I play mono LPs on my Garrard 301 with an Audio Technica ATP-12T tonearm and an Audio Technica VM610MONO cart. Sounds great through my MC30s and C28.
