Years back I bought an amp from a guy that had all but 3 of the entire Mercury Living Presence catalogue.  At that time, I had nearly none, so I asked him for some recommendations of good examples of the MLP sound.  One that was on his list was SR 90222, Frederick Fennell and the Eastman-Rochester Orchestra titled "Pop Overs", a collection of popular classical pieces.  I've probably picked up close to a hundred since.
It's still a good one...

While I am sure this is not as good as the Groove Note 45 RPM pressing, it is still a dame fine sounding record.

A good condition Groove Note will set you back $200 or more, so the fact that I picked this Concord Promo copy at Mr. Cheapo's for one single US Dollar makes Tom a very happy camper.  :thumb:
